Exhibition On: Hong Kong Perspectives | 視角香港
Something that started purely as a vice, eventually became his career. Being a true Contemporary Street Photographer, Christopher thrills on hitting the streets with anything analog. He captures real scenes on film, and shares these visual moments through out of the ordinary compositions.
At the age of 10, Christopher already got into photography. During his high school years, cars and motorsports fascinated him the most. He would repeatedly go out to photograph his friends’ cars, as well as his own, equipped with the Nikon D70 of his dad. When his cousin suggested him to get into automotive photography, Christopher decided to take the leap and went on to study photography before expanding into different genres of the art. Attracted by the raw street scenery, he eventually arrived in Hong Kong where his career really took off.
Christopher’s Hong Kong is a vice that fills a void. His photographs selected for Bamboo Scenes are all taken in Hong Kong throughout 2016, and each represent themselves in an unique way with their own individual visual story.
