Born and raised in Hong Kong, Elaine’s natural curiosity got her to experiment with different creative mediums from early on. At the age of 12, her love for photography evolved by capturing unique moments in life, to relive them again through the images. Being a true Photographer by heart, Elaine’s creative talent and energy led her to obtain an impressive list of Art Director, Designer and avid traveller.
With over large Instagram following, Elaine knows how to master the power of social media and visual storytelling. She turned this into change making campaigns, by initiating the successful ‘Instagrammers for Nepal’ fundraising art exhibition after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, and recently invited the world to feel a sense of familiarity in North-Korea by impressively documenting The Pyongyang’s Subway System.
For the 'Hong Kong Perspectives' Exhibition, Elaine explores the various layers of her hometown and showcases its beauty from different perspectives. Being a true street photographer and urban explorer, Elaine shows Hong Kong as an ever-changing place of diversities, a coming together of East and West and of the Old and the New.
