Exhibition On: Hong Kong Perspectives | 視角香港
Already at a young age, Natasza possessed a strong sense of curiosity. After working for few months at the 4x4 car wash and rental company on Iceland, Natasza bought her first camera - Nikon D80 with a 50mm lens. Since than her relationship with photography grew alongside becoming an Architect and Interior Designer, giving her a lot of freedom to create images.
With an imaginative yet no-nonsense approach towards life, she has created her own unique design and photography style. Equipped with Nikon D700 and Minolta 9000, Natasza feels the urge to share the beauty she sees through her eyes by inviting her audience to stop trying to understand the world, but to look closely and appreciate its imperfect beauty.
The Hong Kong of Natasza is a combination of the dense, concrete landscapes of modern Hong Kong Island and the wild jungle of Outlying Islands, which complement each other offering the balance in her life. Her personal collection ‘TSH’ for Bamboo Scenes, shows the unique relationship between women and the city of Hong Kong, in which the intimacy allows both to stop and blend in an honest act of acceptance and appreciation.
